Projects

Overview

Our projects aim to:

  • Undertake research in the fields of applied ecology and wildlife conservation
  • Create opportunities for collaborations among universities, research Institutes, non-government organisations, industries and government. 
  • Promote community awareness and capacity building towards biodiversity conservation and sustainability.
  • Produce and distribute environmental educational materials

Our team is currently working with endangered species in the Brazilian Amazon, Papua New Guinea and Timor Leste. We are also assessing the status of Tropical Asian freshwater turtles and tortoises, which includes the following countries: Bangladesh, Borneo, Brunei, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Philippines. Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Viet Nan.
